What are my R-1's worth?

The 9.5 x 24 is the size I went up to from 8.3 x 24 anyone looking to go to an oversize on there ym1700 /2000 CUT I would recommend this size, and betting being they come from a 4wd series they will keep the same ratio on any size tractor,
are you viewing this thread ( prentendfarmer )

I don't know what the rolling circumference is of the tire but would imagine it is larger than my 8.3 in which case it would not work with my 4wd. But he's in Connecticut anyway, and I am west of Seattle, so it would be hard to get much further away, and shipping costs are exorbitant.

yeah you are a good distance away from each other, I was saying if getting all 4 tires front & rear, I assume would be pre-matched to the gears ration, the 9.5 would be roughly 2" taller then the 8.3 , which would not match the current tires you have on the front, however if the front were upsized as well by roughly 2" wouldn't this keep the ratio the same
Here is an old photo I dug up, it compares the larger 9.5 x24 <-to the-> 8.3 x24

Actually, going up 2" in diameter in both front and rear tires will change the ratio of the 4wd. For instance, if my front tires measure 24" in diameter, and my rears measure 37", I have a ratio of 1.542. If I go to a 26" front and a 39" rear, I now have a ratio of 1.5. Is it enough to matter? I cannot answer that question. I do know, however, that I want to continue to have roughly the same ratio as the factory provided.

When I bought my 2020D I switched over to Loaded turfs with chains for all my needs. I kept my R-1 for "Just in case I need them" but there really has not been a time where I have. They are 6.00-14 in front and 9.5-24 in the rears.

Any idea what a fair value is for them? I searched on craigslist but came up with zilch and I might be interested if they command a decent price otherwise I would just hang on to them.

I would think for someone needing them for the front of a 4x4 tractor like the 5000 (5203,5303 and 5403) series Deere- they should be worth at least $175 each.

I priced new 8.3 x 20s for my Rhinos front and they were $289. EACH !

Your tires are for a larger wheel and wider. Are they a six ply tire?? if so- and they are like new six plys

you may have more luck selling to someone needing front tires for their 4x4 tractor
