35gallon tank from Tractor Supply.

Tractor Supply normally lists them for $199.00, but was able to get 10% off after asking the store manager why the 35ga was the same price as the 45ga sitting next to it. Short of driving over to the Norwesco facility an hour and half away and buying direct this is the best price I've found, inclusive of shopping online.

I planted 7 blackberries and 4 blueberry bushes recently and the FEL watering pallet (50 gallon drum mounted sideways) is both wearing out from sun damage and is bit overmatched for comfortably safe use on my Bx. The 35 gallon mounted on a custom pallet will fit on a shelf in my shop and be a lot safer to utilize.

I picked up an old(ish) 5 foot rotary cutter (aka bush hog) for $200. Got it identified with help from this forum. Not rusted out - one slice in the rear from a blade. The seller said it leaks at the base of the gearbox. PTO shield is missing. It needs a vented fill plug to relieve the pressure when hot (I think that's all). I'll touch up the blades and make sure the attaching bolts/nuts are good. I replaced the grade 5 bolt with a grade 2, for the sheer bolt. May have to cut the PTO shaft. Haven't hooked it up to the tractor yet...

Hooked it up today and tested it out. Vented fill plug fixed the "leaks oil when hot", and it cut great.

Right at $405 plus taxes. Outfit is Buckeye Power Sales. Sales person I interfaced with is Jason and they treated me exceptionally well. I highly recommend them.

Needed a carb kit for my 170 Stihl chainsaw.
Stihl still ( ) in good shape otherwise.
Parts guy said the saws are discontinued and showed me the replacement. I didn't like it so I bought one of their last old stock 170s.
I really like them for their balance and decent power for what you're paying for.
I don't use it for cutting huge piles of firewood but for trimming and light work.
For me, the perfect saw in that range.
My old one is aboot 18 years old and other than I suspect needing a diaphragm replacement it still runs strong.
Gives me something to fiddle with while I cut with the new one.
$240 +tax, plus threw in a 6 pack of mix and an extra chain.

I have one of those 170 models that I bought new in 2008 and it was running poorly. The spark arrestor screen in the exhaust would plug up. I cleaned it a couple times and finally just left it out. I also a few years ago put a chinesium carb on it that was about $20 or so off ebay. It worked fine with that. I have used those aftermarket kind of carbs on several of my mowers and snow throwers with good results.

Just ordered a woodland mills PTO chipper

I just got the woodland mills WC68 last week. Not doing 6" but 2-3" average it worked fine behind the 8N. I have the backhoe on the L2501 right now so that is why. And I figured if it worked there I could use the kubota to gather brush with the grapple and bring to it. I figured the wc68 was only $200 more than the smaller model so it would pay to buy the heavier duty one even if I worked it lighter. Plus it out to retain value if I elect to sell it later as my arthritis limits my ability to use it.

A new DCBL722 DeWalt Blower just came to live at my place. I've already 3D printed a couple of extra nozzles shapes for it. I've been wanting one for a while to blow the equipment off after mowing/washing. I've had it on my "Shopping List", but they've been sold out until last week (at the price I wanted to pay). When I saw it back in stock, I pulled the trigger and used my 5% back accumulation. Came in at just under $100 TTL.

I got the WC46 to better match the PTO hp of my Kioti. All the reviews and videos I’ve watched has shown it’s quite capable, even on the lower HP tractors. It’s utter overkill for my needs anyway but it should outlive me hopefully
