Ive never seen a rental company keep maint records on older equipment. Usually, i have to give them a call after its broken down and they come out and fix it. Than adjust rental time. I used to rent alot of equipment when i had my company going full time. I rented from 3 different companies, and all the equipment was fairly new, but looked like they were many years older. My tractor still looks brand new. A rental company needs to keep the units rentable, but not necessarily in tip top condition.

I bought a dealer loaner car, a 2025 Chevy Malibu. It had no spare tire and I was told it was an $800 option. So to sweeten the deal they through in a free air compressor, can of sealant and carry bag.

Bought myself a Magnum Research Desert Eagle in 50AE last week, I wanted the gold plated one but the price tag was too much so I settled for a bronze Cerakote model. Almost ordered the 44 magnum but said what the heck and went all out. Cannot be any harder to handle than my Smith 460 XVR.

Nice 5030, I own both of those. I was at the gun shop and he had the .44AE, I commented it was a shame he didn't have the .50. He pulled one out, I bought it.

I like big bore handguns, always have. Lots of people shy away from the Smith 44 magnum, I don't. My late dad gave me his 'Dirty Harry' special and that got me started on the big bores. A non braked 44 is a handful, especially with muzzle climb and you'd better be hanging on tight or you'll imprint your forehead with the front sight.

I have just 2 prerequisites for a big bore handgun, one, it has to be a deer hammer and 2, it has to be manageable to deal with. Never bought a 500 Smith simply because the 460 XVR will outshine it. I handload everything I shoot and I always load them pretty hot as well.

I got a 2-pack of batteries to fit my Dewalt tools. These are 8ah and were 2 for $51. Lowe's had the 5ah with 2 for $315, but it included a charger.

I have several chargers already so I thought I would try these knock-offs.

Where did you find 2 8ah dewalts for 51 bucks? Hopefully not amazon. Alot of amazon dewalts are fake

I did get them on Amazon, but they are not Dewalt. They look like and fit Dewalt, but definitely are not Dewalt brand. I figured for that cheap, it was worth a chance that they might work for a while. We will see....

Reminds me of my dad bringing home a new base model Cherokee he bought. It didn’t come with a radio, he told me he got the dealership to throw in a radio. That’s exactly what they did, they threw a radio in… the back seat. I had to install it and speakers for him. He loved telling that story.

Look’s familiar!!!
Recent or past?

Either way, I wish you well! (y) If I didn't know better I'd think you'd hacked my photos! 😂

It was just a twinge when they pulled the drain. But 3 days walking around with a clear blood grenade clipped to my gown made for great conversation.

So far, I couldn't be more satisfied. I'm up to a mile and a half every afternoon. Zero leg pain. Only twinges where the hardware was installed. Tylenol twice a day. That's it.

Neighbors think I'm lost, locked out of the house, or just losing it because I just wander up and down the driveway.... 62 steps out. Tap the mailbox. 62 steps back. Tap the garage door. Repeat. 🙃

Had surgery just over 2 years ago. My recovery was very similar to what you are currently experiencing, walking really helped reduce the pain.
Pretty much all the numbness went away in my left leg however, if I lift anything over 20 pounds or exert myself too much I will get some numbness on the ball of my foot for a day or two. Before the operation I had lost 85% of the strength in my right leg and could not walk with out a walker at one point. Not as good as “new” but I consider the operation pretty successful

Finally bought a root rake grapple.
AR 400 steel, made in USA. Really like the design for my uses.

Thanks for the update. I've knocked off 5 paces to the mailbox, so my stride is getting longer. Walking at a pace of just about 2 steps per second. Went 1.8 miles yesterday. Felt great. (y)

Bought a new trailer tongue jack for my 23 year old 18' car hauler trailer at Rural King.

Also picked up 3 bolts, 3 nuts, 6 flat washers and 3 lock washers for $.89

Gotta love bolts by the pound! (y)

Last week I bought the Bestco PTO FH-BX42 wood chipper. It is well made. Heavy metal plates for the hopper with a 4 blade 80 pound flywheel.
It easily took 4" dried limbs. I bought the factory refurbished unit for $1080 delivered. Used it with my MX5200 Kubota. It never bogged down.
How are you liking it? I’m considering buying a PTO chipper.
