What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

thank you! But, that's the first 'real' work I've done on it for a few weeks though. I told my father in law, 'i used 1/4 tank of fuel in the tractor, but personally I'm running on empty'

he fell OUT of his back door a few days ago, down 4 steps and landed face first on the concrete patio. the bones around his right eye are broken in several places, and he looks worse than stallone at the end of Rocky.....85 years old, and today he walked down to the top of the hill where I was chipping limbs to watch a little while. Now THERE'S some heart right there....

Father-in-Law just turned 85 an took a header off the back of his camper and sprained his wrist. He is upset that he can't get next year's firewood cut down. He has already cut down, bucked up, split and stacked this winters wood. Amazing! Sure hope yours heals up quick too.

Each generation gets a little softer, slower, and works a little less. Hope my grandson can turn it around. He will be two next month and acts hard as nails now.

Can anybody think of a reason NOT to put this toolbox here? I've had it setting there for the last couple of days and it really isn't in my way. I step over it almost naturally when getting on or off. There's enough room around it to open the lid and get to the 3Pt adjuster knobs. I wouldn't bolt it down. I'd use some kind of industrial strength hook and loop fasteners so I could remove it easily.

I find myself looking backwards a lot when using rear implements. As time goes by, I shift in my seat more to look backwards since my neck gets stiff. I think having a toolbox there would constrain my legs, and prohibit shifting my body to look backwards.

This may or may not be a factor for you, but it would affect how I operate my machine.

It would. I almost wish for a swivel seat. A rear view mirror would help, but it would have to be a big one (or two).

didn't do much WITH my tractor today, just unloaded a few implements off the truck..... found a guy selling some stuff. County Line (TSC brand) Post hole digger, with 9" and 12" augers, AND a single bottom plow in great shape....bought it all for $300......that's half what the PHD and the two augers would have cost new. In good shape, and yes the auger turned when I turned the driveshaft, so I know the gear box is good.
