Did a little MMM mowing on the steep hill. Up and down is fine, but slow. Still leery of where and how to turn around at the top. I had it down pat with the LTs, but this is taking some getting used to. I could get close to things with the LTs, but the deck sticks out beyond the tires with this, so I have to remember that extra width. Then I have to be wary of clearance for the basket handle so I don't become a basket case.

Still wondering about the loader too. I had planned on taking it off to mow, but people said leave it on for the counterweight. Problem is the extra clearance I have to allow for when turning so as not to slice things.

yep, this will be my first and last implement from J Bar, I strapped it down to the trailer tight before I unloaded it and used a chain and the bucket hydraulics to straighten the side, but I did 'tear' a little of the side too, so I'll beat it back in place and weld it up. I should have realized the first time I stepped on it and felt the top give how cheaply it was made.....

The wire tyes are temp. Only thing had to shap the metal with was a ratchet strap, hammer, and the wire ties.

Mine is in brush alotView attachment 573951View attachment 573952View attachment 573953View attachment 573954

I have seriously considered doing that. my little mig welder will work just right to weld that on. might take it off the tractor before welding it, but it'd look good welded and painted to match.

man I use wire ties for everything! they're perfect if you're not quite sure about something yet

Moved a stump from the front yard. I had the tree cut awhile back. I had to work hard for my JD 450h dozer to dig it out. My wife came off the porch watching me. The stump was about 18" across. The root ball was about 5 to 6 feet across. A really big hole. I rolled it around a bit and knocked a lot of dirt off of it. Then went and got my LS XR4150 with grapple. I used the grapple to know more and more dirt off of it and got it down to about 4 foot across. At that time all I could do was pick the back of the tractor up. I put my large grader blade on the back and tried again. After working on it, knocking more dirt out of it, water in all tires, blade on the back, I did pick it about 6" off the ground. That was enough to get it out of the yard and down the drive without tearing anything up. The tractor was at its max. Going down the hill, very slowly, I could feel every bump in the road. And at one time, I felt like one of the rear tires came off the ground. The stump went into the first hole on the side of the road. If I have to, I can move it with the dozer, or cover the hole up. The tractor had no problems with the tree. I cut it into sections about 12 foot long and picked them up with no problems. My wife had thought that I got too big a tractor. I don't think she feels that way now.

chipped up another big pile of limbs I've gathered from the neighbors yard, then did my 50 hour service on it. Man I really like this tractor :cool2:

I also rolled under the brushguard. If I could get it home I could weld it up. My F250 is down bad transmission

can you get to the pins to pull them to lower the brush guard and raise the hood?

I finally got 50 hours on my MT125 and completed the 50 hour service. It was pretty easy and a good chance to really look the entire tractor over. I truly love my LS MT125.
