Someone asked me to post pics of my Kubota B6200. It's a 1983.
I've been painting the sheet metal and touched up some if the frame as well.

I just got offered $4000 for the tractor and 4' belly mower. I'm inclined to do the deal.

Thats a fine looking B6200 - nice job on the refurb.

I refurbed a L185DT with FEL and BH in 98 down to the frame/engine - took the all parts out for sandblasting and painting, new wiring etc - took all summer but got it back together finally with decals etc as original.

If I figured my time at $20/hr I didnt make $ but I did enjoy it.

I would say $4K is a great deal for someone - but if it runs as good as it looks then $4500 or a b it more is in line I think..

Thanks Carl. It was a lot of work but I enjoyed it. I used an angle grinder with a sanding pad, and an orbital sanders and hand sanding, primed and then painted it. It runs great. I was going to ask $4500 on Craigslist.

I think I'll let it go. The buyer owns a tractor store and I'm going buy a new 48 inch rototiller from him to use with my new to me B2620.

The economy is bad around here near Flint, Michigan. So I think it is a fair price.

Thanks, Bob. My daughter stopped over and my wife showed her my tractor and she thought it was my new one, which is a 2008 B2620.

I'm happy the way it turned out.

Took most of the sheetmetal off (what was left) and cleaned them up, washed the other front rim I didnt have for, and organized all the parts i had, and added more things to the list I need to buy. ($220)

Sold my 28 year old B6200 to a local dealer, Pauls Tractor, and bought a Pheonix 48" tiller. Came back with $2500 check. Can't wait to give it a test drive with my B2620.
