What did you do to your tractor today?

Yesterday afternoon - took delivery, did walkthrough with dealer, drove around the driveway and lane for about 5 minutes, folded ROPS down, parked in garage. Ran to one of my daughters basketball games; came home and read every manual cover to cover.

Tonight - Hopefully pick up trailer and other attachments, get them home, find a place to park the trailer and put the attachments until everything dries up. Hopefully will finish organizing resting places for everthing this weekend including grading a spot out back to park the trailer.

Check all the fluid levels including the front axle fluid level. Seems to be some settling after the fluid is added.

Couple pics from January 3rd when we got a few inches of snow. Wasn't really enough to plow but i pushed a few drifts around just for fun.

Thanks Dex. On my list. Checked it last night, but it's been raining all week so I've only got an hour on it so far. Will check again at 10 when I do the greasing. Hope to hit that tomorrow with all the grading I've got planned.

Replaced 6 more FEL hydraulic hoses so now I have all 12 new hoses which theoretically will outlast the tractor (according to the Pirtek dealer anyway).

Installed a 48" tooth bar on my 54" bucket with some customization which wasn't hard to do. Tested on piles of rocks and man, does it work. In fact, the loads were so heavy that's what caused a couple of the older hoses to leak slightly.

Greased the FEL.

Checked battery water levels.

I supose this should be in seat time but let us say I was testing the tractor seeing as it isnt finished yet.

Moved two engines and a Land Rover front axle using a hook on the front loader.
Knocked a wall down ( 16 feet by about 10 feet high ) then moved all the blocks with the loader to clear up.
Dug a hole with the front loader, twice bucket width and about ten feet long (longer with run in ramp) and about 2 feet deep. Needs to be about a foot deeper but will have to wait untill backhoe fitted back on tractor.

Little Ford 1200 never missed a beat and the new muffler sounds great with its raincap tinkling away on tickover.

What more could a man ask for on a Sunday:laughing::laughing:

I plowed some snow yesterday and took a few pics.
Here's one with some of my driveway, the tractor "house" and my house way down there.

I plow with the rear blade and this is my best setup so far, maximum angle on the 7' blade with the most offset I can get with the 3pt hitch. The sway adjust system is really handy for this so I can make sure one side is always in tension before the other side is in compression.
