What do you do with your Instant Pot you cant do with a crock pot?

Daughter visited, had wanted an Instant Pot, went home with mine!

Those "pesky" kids will run off with everything not fastened down - I'm presently missing a lawnmower, a trailer and a pressure washer - that I know of.

Our adult daughters joke (?) that they just show up for the 'cash and prizes'. :laughing:

Actually they're good people. It's more that we are trying to slim down from all the 'stuff' here, in particular stuff we inherited that our parents earmarked for our kids. Princess Diana dolls?? It's all going to Goodwill after we can get them to review it. But occasionally things like a cuckoo clock that was in grandma's kitchen are defined as critical heirlooms so we can't just clear out everything.

Anyhow back to the Instant Pot - my wife won't touch it. Something about fear of a pressure cooker that she was taught as a child.

She insists I'm the sole designated Instant Pot chef.

At least she'll advise on suitable ingredients and seasoning, she knows I'm not a cook.

I envy you guys who really know what you're doing.
