What features or improvements do you wish your Kioti had?

I agree with every option and everything you just said Eric except for one thing. I have not seen or had the desire for fenders on a tractor. I cannot see how they would be helpful in anyway other than getting in the way and one more thing to break. I suppose if you did a lot of road travel maybe it would help in the slushy season. Is that the reason or am I missing something?

It will keep the mud and water off my face. Right now everything gets projected at me. I'm contemplating my own with a design that will have minimum exposure for getting caught in other things, yet efficient in keeping me and the tractor cleaner.

What would I have different, changed or added? Only two things come to mind, the first is that poor excuse for a tool box mounted behind the seat should be bigger and of a good quality not some dollar store Tupperware thing and I would like arm rests for the seats.

I really cant believe all the things people think they need or want on their tractors. For those who are into all that excessive crap that only causes aggravation when a machine gets old I think you should spend a few weeks plowing with horse mule or whatever, digging with a shovel and cutting the field by hand! Then you will view what you do have in a totally different light.

If Kioti would upgrade the loader max. lifting capacity on it's CK line it would knock the socks off of all competitors.

Are there any new cab tractors out there now made with a steel roof?Just asking.

I honestly don't know, I do know I will hopefully get a guard built for mine this year. If anyone wants a treat crawl up into a new Deere frontend loader or even any of the newer ones for that matter. They are as quiet as a car and the operator comfort is priority. 12 hours in one is a treat compared to just 15 to 20 years ago. Anyway I know pricepoint is a issue but I would gladly pay more for a well thought out cab like a few others are saying. CJ

My cab on my bobcat CT 225 has a steel roof. It is made by cozy cab for bobcat they also make one for the CKs. It is a very heavy duty cab.

From the guy who sound-dampened his tractor's cab: Fiberglass roofs are quieter than steel roofs. The engine noise we hear is largely coming in through the glass. The only way to reduce the noise is increase the thickness or cost of the front facing laminated glass.

Mercedes are jokingly called led-sleds because their glass is heavy and thick, but the cars are nice and quiet inside.

Ford makes the windscreens on its trucks thicker than their competitors, which is why their trucks are quieter too. Anyway, it is expensive to get thicker glass.

What you're missing is that as a tractor increases in size, so to is it more likely to transport from one location to another for whatever reason.

Ever run down a slushy road at 15 mph without front fenders on your tractor?

Mine are nice in the winter/spring months they keep the snow and mud off the cab.I can easily take them off in the summer months.

I don't think I could hit 15 mph even down hill😁. That must be it then if u like them I like them but I'm pretty confident that Eric find could find a way to break them no matter how well designed myself included. No offense Eric. I love reading your adventures.

Well I jinxed myself commenting on this thread about crawling along at 15 mph. Tonight I showed up to clear snow with plans to video operating Kubota's M135X (the tractor I was hired to operate LOL) and after firing it up, it's hydros where pegging out the fun meter and riding the relief and so I shut it down. Later I found out that the pride of the fleet is also popping out of high gear from the operator who got to the mall before me. Rut-row. I've yet to actually operate that poor M135X. Anyway, with the M135 that I operated last week also gone AWOL elsewhere, I jumped into an M9540 hydro-shuttle and began answering life's important questions, like…
