I think there are a few differences. I was able to reach mine without removing the wheel. Took about five minutes to adjust.

Finished the stop yesterday. I bought a stop for an 8N for this project but it needed a modification. It had a tendency to rotate when adjusting and would have been a pain to get back where it needed to be once installed.

So I added a 1/4 inch bolt with a square nut and that fixed that.

Here is the finished product and it slides like butter!

Paint is dry so I will install it today.

Looks good! Is there room to add a second down stop?

I had to go look as I hadn't considered needing one for lifting. There is about 1/2 inch clearance on the lift side so a properly designed one would work. If I built one I would use 1/2 flat bar for top and bottom with a 5/16 square nut cut to fit and welded to the bottom piece. No washer needed that way.

Funny how satisfying this little project was. I love when simple solutions work so effectively.

That even looks a lot better and cleaner installed than it did in pieces. That portion of the 4815C cab and controls is indeed totally different than the 4720CH

Ptsg, yes it especially considering that was scrap angle that had to be cut down using a cheap bandsaw, drill and Dremel tool. Lol all free hand.

Thanks Cougs, I did not realize they were that different. But I think Branson had made a design change just before the 4815C was released. Maybe that is the difference?

Well, it was a rainy couple days again and I did yet another small project for the tractor.

I add a 3pt control lever to the rear of the tractor so it makes it easier to adjust the height when hooking implements.

I usually store the implements on tight quarter and often with the right side of the tractor blocked with a wall, so I have to constantly go around and back and forth to adjust the height.

Anyways, here it is. Initially I was going to make the linkages work under all the covers, but found out quite quickly that this would mess up all the pivot points and give a weird feeling on the rear lever.

So I opted to go on top of the covers as it gave me a straight shot between both levers. Somehow, it also end up in between the two remote levers if I had two sets of remotes.

I always try to keep everything original, so I made a clamp to go on the 3pt lever so I didn't have to drill it for the rod ball end. The rear lever mount also clamps over the ROPS, which allows me to adjust the lever in height to whatever height works better for me.

On the left, the 3 pt lever clamp and on the right the pivot point mount:

The mount clamped to the ROPS:

The close call between the rod and the remote lever, but works fine without touching it.

The rear lever on the fully up and down positions.

Looks good, well thought out and done, it will be very handy.
I have the electronic position control with the toggle switch on the fender, I'd be lost without it.

Very nice! I like how it is a straight shot. Makes things much smoother.
