I like to make a line from the threads to the nut, to the washer and to the wheel. And look for a break in the paint line. A paint pen has all kind of uses to make maintenance simpler.

I'm glad you checked. I wasn't sure how much torque they took, I just vaguely remember it being "a lot".

I've not had mine off, so I didn't need to get the specific torque spec. I was thinking it was higher, but that torque range is doable for most home shops anyway.

The operators manual and service manual being different got me. My dealer wasn't sure which was correct either.

The only thing I have that takes 450 lb-ft is my 2=5/16 hitch ball. I don't have a torque wrench that big, but I think I got it to around 350 lb-ft. I tighten it every time I use and it has not loosened any.

It's that time of the year again. Well, maybe a bit too late actually. I swear this brush grow like a foot per day during this time of the year. 😅

are those thistles/spiny plants I see? My land suddenly sprouted a bunch of those and I've been pulling them where I can't mow (we've had some rain, which is surprising in this definitely-going-to-be-a-drought year, and they're pulling out easily at least), great having yet another thing to add to the list

Yes, these are thistles plants. Thank you for teaching me what those plants are called in English. I had no idea.

We also had very little rain but doesn't take much for these things to grow like crazy. In the last two months or so, these plants grew about 5 ft high in various areas on this land, which is full of these plants.

It used to be full of blackberries when we first started taking care of this land but fortunately we got that under control.

I added this 7.5 foot meyers a few winters ago (?) but I had problems controlling it. It worked flawlessly this winter after changing the mounting system. I removed the upper mount and chain connection and went with a rigid link. I had minimal gravel/slate loss.
How does it work thinking about doing this but worried about a push when the blade is angled and possibility of twisting or bending the loader arms when its pushing the tractor one way or the other

I haven't been on in a while but we have done some things to are 2610 and done a lot of things with 2610. But to keep on topic here is just a coulpe of things that we have done and actually have photos of on my phone so as to be able to share. The grille guard is not completed yet waiting to hear back from a powder coater on getting it done for me.

I've been working my 2020 (year) 2515H (model) hard since I got it.

It's 450 hr service time.
Mostly digging. Teeth on the bucket let you dig twice as fast.

The roll pin for the gear range selector broke today. Getting the selector arm off was easy. Getting it back on is not. the shaft wants to push on in instead of sliding into the selector arm. (not solved yet. Happened today)
Dealer supplied pin no charge (it's just a roll pin, but that's still nice of them)
I came here because this is where a search for the manual led me (to see if there's a trick to holding that shaft while getting the lever on)
