I put a tree puller on it!! It did well, I am sure my technique (I have only pulled 3 trees so far) is the only thing holding this thing back.

Looking forward to having more time to pull up some trees!!

Ok, now pull the same plate on the other side of the driveshaft with 4 bolts. This will expose the coupling on the transmission side.

If the leaks happens to be the seal #6 or the o-ring #5, it's still an easy fix with the worst part being having to drain the transmission oil. Branson made it so you can just pull the drive shaft out, and the pop out a sleeve the has the seal #6 and o-ring #5 without having to split the tractor.
Yes, I opened it before writing, and I saw the seal holder, but I'm not sure this is the problem because as much as I can see everything in the bell housing is covered with oil. The dealer going to bring his mechanic with a camera. I hope it is this #5&#6.

I installed a 12k lb winch. I got a universal fit mounting tray and cut it to fit, had to modify the front brush guard a bit, add a few brackets, and also had to switch the fairlead out to a low profile version so the loader arm could clear, but it now fits perfectly with no issues. I already used it to move a few felled trees and it did great!

Do you take the power from the tractor battery or you installed additional somewhere?

I'm using the tractor battery / alternator and it seems to work just fine.

OK, I see. Asked because I thought about it for the tractor and my utv, and while making research most ppl recommend an additional battery installed in parallel.
looks sharp BTW.

I would think that would depend on how frequently you use the winch, and for how long. If it is just used occasionally, the one battery will work fine. If you plan on using it regularly for hauling trees up hills with chokers, maybe two batteries may not even be enough.

And the alternator is only 50A if I remember correctly. At least on the ROPS models.

I assume you got the 12k because the cost at HF is so reasonable - or did you think "I actually need 12k pulling power"? I've contemplated putting a winch on mine but I don't know that I need the full 12k...

is the tree pulling more a matter of loader lift or tilting the "bucket" / grabber back?
