I also used blind rivets, but the ones with counter-sunk heads. So far that seems to be working.

Do yourself a favor and leave that front grate off - IMO it only gets in the way, especially when clearing a clog. Think that was one of the first things I did to my 2360.

Good tip, I have only had to clear about a half dozen clogs in the last 11 years, but they took from 5 minutes to 45 minutes to clear, and yes they were pretty hard to clear.

Thanks it came out ok, the two ends were beautiful but the last 6’ or so I dug from the side, so I could get the machine out easily. The soil in that last bit was rock hard due to compaction from a triaxel and heavy excavator for a pool. Took as long as the first 25’...

Ended up with a wow in the middle, but the electrician and plumber were happy.

Finally got some snow, so finally got the chance to use the 2360 snowblower.

Nice upgrade in power from the single-stage Bolens, but as I don't have any shear bolts yet, I am nervous about what it might take to snap one.

No problems today and I covered the whole 9000 sq/ft. I'm noticing how the float-pressure can at times make steering ineffective and while I used to use the loader on the Bolens to create a base of packed snow, I went right to the snowblower with the MF.

I hated the mess of ugly piles of snow created by the loader versus the neat placement of the blower, so I'm glad there was no problem with the blower grabbing too much dirt or gravel. The skid plates did their job well.

Picked up a JD 503 rotary cutter for a song from my neighbor who had never used it in ten years. Sat out in his yard all that time. His PTO shaft was so frozen I was breaking my chain while trying to separate it with my F350 truck. Finally bought a replacement from Ag-Supply. I did some minor maintenance, took the yoke and wheel apart and greased them.

So here's the bottom line - WOW, Wow. It starts so smoothly and is so quiet running I can barely hear and feel it. I was worried about having that old thing start up and shake my small GC2400 apart. NOPE! With the electronic solenoid PTO start there is no start nor over run issues either. To say I'm a happy camper is an understatement.

I am getting ready to clear and plant some food plots on a new piece of property I got in a tax sale, and this will be very useful to get started.

BTW, I am 75YO almost 76, so my advice is to keep going as long as you can.
