What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

No. A half an hr job as I followers the manuals recommended service. 50 hrs is an oil change, check bolts, check fan belt tension and grease everything. It says to do hydro at 250 hrs. I checked the hydro fluid and it was clean and didn’t smell burnt.

They don't have you do the hydro and front axle at 50 hrs anymore? Hmm.

That jb weld repair work out?

It sure did for me, i just wanted to add surface for the RTV gasket. Wasnt needed for structural support, the metal was aluminum. I also used JB Weld brand RTV (silicon gasket).

And does this mean now you have many grease smudges on your computer's keyboard, ha

It worked well so far-everything is back together and no leaks, I am doing the rest of the 250 hour service shortly. I used a printout of what I got on tractorbynet so the grease and oil smudges are on the paper and shop manual only

Thanks, all FEL work due to room constraints.

The customer didn’t want to go past the trees, I would have doubled the material and set it out further, lessening the slope even more, but it came out pretty well.
