Quick Hitches what is best conversion device

Have a class 1 tractor (Kioti 3054) and just bought a used class 2 sickle cutter which has 1 1/8' pins. What is recommended to convert? Was looking at Pat's device - are the hooks on the class one version large enough to support 1 1/8" pins? Any other recommendations?

Welcome! Are the pins on your sickle mower bolts or are they welded on?
Easiest thing to do is replace the pins to Cat 1.
Tractor Supply and most any similar type store (Agri Supply, Rural King, etc.) has replacement pins.
Unbolt yours from your mower, bring them with you, get the same bolt size as you have but in a Cat 1 pin size.

But you may also have to turn the pins inward, as cat II spacing is 32" and not all cat I tractors lower arms open wide enough as cat I is 26".

So instead of pins facing outward, they just face inward, and is a bit different to hook up, but doable.

unfortunately pins are welded on...bolts would have been too easy! Even so, replacing the pins may still be the best option as both of you have suggested. Thanks for the advice.

Could you post a picture of the current pins on the mower?

Yep, unfortunately, replacing the pins is about the only way to go.

If it was going from a cat I mower to a cat II tractor, $5 worth of bushing would have been all that was needed.
