Why take the hit on all the attachments? Won't you need them for the cab model?
The first year on a tractor is always the biggest depreciation. That is why many folks like to find a 1-3 year old machine.
Was your dealer quoting trade in dollars? I don't think he was too far off the mark. I've been stuck in the wanna-move-up-but-can't-afford-it doldrums before.
I have to say that I sometimes surprise myself with how much I can get done on my little 4310. My barn contractor said "Y'all sure have some nice equipment"(looking at our 5420, 4310 and gator. I replied, "You like that 4WD 5420?" He said, "I really like that 4310, Shoot, it has 4WD and hydrostatic, I bet I could really get some work done with that!"
Made me feel better about keeping it... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
