I've never understood why people being paid that well had to keep fighting over the same ball.

My pet peeve today ~ companies that send sales ads to my email with an Unsubscribe option. I click on the unsubscribe option but the ads keep coming month after month. Grrr

Or, the unsubscribe link either doesn't work or takes you to their web site where you have to sign up in order to change your email options. Grrrrrr.

They get away with it, even though it violates the CAN-SPAM Act passed in 2003.

What's worse are the pre-and post-game shows. Dunno about other teams, but the New England Patriots network has a 3 hour pregame show, and a 3 hour postgame show, either one of which is longer than the actual game!

Like you, I have zero interest in sports, but you'd think that 6 hours of jabber would be more than even the most diehard fan could take.

Sounds like all the Notre Dame crap aired around here during football season.
I couldn't give a furry rat's behind for any collegiate or professional sports. After all, it's all about the money, period.

Pet peeve: people mowing grass discharging toward the street with the chute wired up.... gonna hurt somebody someday or worse. Then the same people leave grass spread out onto the street without blowing it back or picking it up.

Yeah, this drives me nuts. Its mostly the rural areas around here that do that, you'd think farmers would know better.

This is from somebody doing that very thing. I should have stopped but didn't realize the damage at the time. Imagine if this had been a pedestrian or motorcyclist, rather than my truck fender. He was about 70-100 yards away, mowing with the deflector up.
