This is the same one that is sold here for $10. at one of our lacal equipment supply stores. Actually paid only $8 during the recent sale for mine. Thought it was a good buy.
BabyGrand,
Thanks for the photos-very helpful.
What brand is the attachment in the 2nd photo, and did you purchase it locally or online?
That's either a King Kutter or County Line boom pole, purchased in 2007 at my local Tractor Supply.
Very handy for lots of jobs, but not the best/safest choice for moving logs.
I needed heat and I was working with what I had.
Got a real, 3pt logging winch 2 or 3 years ago - much safer and capable in many ways.
I use the keyhole on my choker chains because they don稚 accidentally disconnect. I found grab hooks on chokers will unhook frequently with the roll and tumble in winching.

Found it. In the beginning of the video he shows how he uses both ends of the keyhole link.
His is fixed right into the chain. My issue is that the keyhole link I purchased is for 3/8" chain (only size I could find)
and it's going onto a 5/16" chain. And I would like to be able to easily mount it and remove it.
Need a way to get it on and off the chain and have it able to rotate for varied use.
Thanks for the follow up.
Looks as if they make 2 models, standard and heavier duty.
Which would be advisable to use with a B-Series Kubota?
Ever heard of mousing?
Dale
That little reverse curve at the tip of a hook is to keep the mousing in place.

But I sure wouldn't want to do that many times per hour.
Slip hooks with the little sheet metal safety latch don't last very long. This style is better.
