What Makes Kubota Better Than Kioti

Steppenwolf.
You truly appear to be all in concerning kubota. I have only owned the current MX, and find it dependable. The availability of an all glass cab w/ the OEM appearance has been very rewarding. But can you really demonstrate your unfettered loyalty without a kubota bathrobe, matching slippers and shower curtain? Honestly, a humorous remark could be made about the shop vac, but as stated, I like kubota. Have little desire to own kioti, need incentive to switch brands when satisfied.

I like the way you think.

Funny. I walked into a Kubota last week to buy antifreeze. I figured I had a bunch of Kubota engines requiring a coolant change and I might as well get the most appropriate stuff. Shocked! I think I saw Kubota toothbrushes but no antifreeze!

Industrial,
In my case, I purchased based upon need. It was new and functional, not really a question of affordability. If a grand L were perceived at the time, able to perform the chores at hand more capably, likely that would have been the tractor of choice. The MX appeared sturdier, larger rubber and beefier front axle, just seemed a better fit while still equipped w/ a hydro transmission.. Your comment appears confrontational and judgmental without any basis in the current discussion.

That's a good sign. At least that means Kubota owners have teeth! I bet you won't see any toothbrushes at a Branson dealership

No. The thread itself may be just that. My hobby among others is observing humans. In many cases, what I see is that EGO will defend itself no matter how obvious or ridiculous the facade may be. And yes, it's not always the case. Would I own the equipment I have if money were not a factor? Definitely not.

I always wonder if people that buy cheaper stuff and stick up for it, would do that if they suddenly came into money. Just like people that swear by second hand vehicles, as if it's not that they can't afford new.

Why is it that someone can not necessarily afford a new car if they buy used???? Thats a serious error and an incorrect assumption. I been looking for a used Jeep recently and it is not that I cant afford a new one, we could, but why? I can get a low mileage used one for almost 40% less? Finding it is part of the fun for me.
I have all late model Kubota Eqpt (most bought new) and like it a lot and feel it is a good value. If someone else wants a different make, used or new, fits there needs/budget , I hope it works great for them. If used is what they can afford I also commend them for buying used and staying within their means - to me that is the sign of a smart man/woman, not someone to look down on.

Also if I hit the lottery tomorrow I won't change my eqpt - I bought it for my needs and it serves them well.....

This thread is getting a lot of traction.

I started out looking at new. The DPF issue was one of the things that turned me off of a new Kubota. In addition, I just didn't see the value in a new Kubota but did in the Mahindra.

Fortunately I found a used Kubota that allowed me to get a cab. Now that I actually own a Kubota and have a little more experience my opinion has changed.

My 12 year old Kubota is in excellent condition and there is no DPF. Everything works. All the trim, gauges, latches, etc. work after 12 years. I'm really impressed by the engineering and the fact that this 12 year old tractor has no rust on it. It actually looks better than some of the brand new models that were on dealer lots.

Hope I never have to buy another tractor but if I do I will shop all brands again but Kubota is a great tractor.

Go to a large equipment rental and see what brad of tractors they own. I've never seen a Kioti at a rental yard.

I have seen Kioti, Bobcat, Mahindra, JD and Kubota at the rental yards around me.
