How deep is that bucket Jacques? It looks similar to some of the buckets I've bee looking at.
We got 6" of snow that was so close to being rain that they couldn't call it. So it was very wet. with my current 65" bucket (yes, only 65" outside to outside, measured it) I think I could have pushed through it forever. I would get a pile that builds up in front of me and then that pile will stay about the same size as the extra spills off both sides. The problem is that it leaves a 5.5ft path so I need at least 2 more passes to get an 8' driveway clean. The 2nd pass does the other side but leaves snow on the part I plowed first. If I'm lucky, I can get that all up in the 3rd pass without spilling anymore. With a 7' bucket, I'm hoping to do one pass leavning 6" unplowed on each side of the drive. I won't worry about that. All the vehicles that need to get in and out are small. I have one drive that I measured at 7 foot at the narrowest part. The anthing over 7 foot isn't going to work.
So I think I'm goint to look for a good deal on a high volume 7ft bucket. At the same time I'll look for a deal on an 8' hydraulic angle rear blade. I have a 6' rear blade but not only is it short, but I think it may be to light for this tractor. Plus, I really want hydraulic angle. I'll use this for some dirt and gravel work each year as well.
So I guess the search is on! Hopefully I can find some local deals as good as your $300 bucket nybirdman!
