What to use in Ballast box

Hi All, I made up this ballast weight "holder" set up a few years back for my Kubota L3130 GST & it has served me well, is easy to connect & remove as well it is small for maneuvering in tight spaces! Hope this helps?

Why Ballast Box for weight?
For the life of me why would anyone want to put a usless box on three point hitch that you can not use? Why not a Box Blade or a back blade? At least it could be used for doing something besides rear weight that has no other use except to hang there.

+1. I sold my box blade this week and am planning on building a new box blade that weighs more and can be used for many purposes. Throw a shovel holder on there like has been suggested along with a couple of shackle mounts and a weld on chain hook. Plus a receiver hitch and possible even a small removable boom for lifting things.
