JD4120 power reverser
I would like JD to make me a factory cab tractor of my 4120 with the PR trans!!!

You might want to have that checked out...my 3rd SCV is silky smooth..could be a busted cable, kinked cable, etc... all it takes is one good kink when installing it and it will forever be tough to operate. I personally installed & adjusted mine and it works great....(Did you know there is a float Detent on the SCV...I've seen many machines come with the detent not functional because of improper adjustment)

The cables arent a "Cheap & Easy" solution on the cab models, I'd argue mechanical linkage is way cheaper & easier. The reason for cable controls is to completely isolate the levers & such from any vibration...mechanical linkage would introduce vibration on the lever which in turn would make the cab that much more noisy. JD has the quietest cab by far because of this.....

I'll take a look at the cables again. In my attempt to bundle everything up nice and neat, I may have made things too tight. Thanks for the suggestion.

I should have clarified my 'cheap & easy' comment further. On my 4200, cable operation for the SCV kits is far easier and cheaper from an engineering point of view than mechanical linkage because of the levers being mounted on the right fender, and with the 3rd SCV spool being part of the loader valve, and the 4th & 5th SCV valve being on the left side just above and behind the rear axle.

I'd have JD add a parking brake indicator light on my 5045D...

Again, the machine is working as designed...if you needed that feature, maybe you should have gotten the eHydro instead.

I tried the HST as well before buying. I noticed no difference for driving very slowly. But I saw the brake pedal was for the left foot. I would on no account have bought such a dangerous machine. I was sure to have an accident either with the tractor or the car on an emergency. I'm surprised they are highway legal. I already find confusing the gears on the left hand when all our cars have them on the right hand.

I'd like a parking brake audible alarm for my jd2320.
Maybe I could hook something up to the parking brake light?

I'd like a none removable loader for the 3000 series. The quick detach feature isn't all that useful to me. Or maybe a more rigid design that quick detaches. That's one reason I'm not upgrading to a 4000 series and getting a 110. I just don't feel the fel is solid enough.

There are two very minor things I would do on my 5303.

1. I would put the 3-point lift cylinders on the outside of the chassis for simplicity and ease of maintenance. This is one feature that I really liked on the Kubota M5040.

2. I would somehow figure out how to get the A-3 and B-1 gears in the same range. It seems like I am constantly switching back and forth beween these two gears, and of course, the gears are synchronized but the ranges are not.

I am pretty darn happy with everything else on the tractor. I did install the second rear SCV, factory horn, factory rear work light, canopy, and manifold heater. With the exception of the SCV, all of the installs were very reasonably priced and easy to install.

I have NEVER heard anyone complain about that before! Isn't the brake pedal on the left in your car?

Our gears are on the right:p

When driving an Ehydro on the road it tends to slow very quickly when you take your foot off the pedal, so the brakes don't get that much use. Also the Ehydro allows pretty much for infinately variable speeds so I think this may have worked better for you.

I agree with you thats why I bought my 4520 cab tractor without a loader but with just about everything else. I prefer that my tractor is not encumbered with a loader on the front too. The 110 is there when I need a loader.
