WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Did you request a loaner? Something fromthier rental fleet for no charge, for a few days to get your projects going....

Similiar problem, I got a week rental for the price of a day. Should have been entirely free but...what are you going to do...

I didn't intend to sound like I thought you should wait for the dealer, nor did I intend to say that you should go off on them. My point was that I sent an email that was merely an inquiry as to my tractor being covered for equipment designed for larger hp tractor. Never meant to rock the boat, and certainly did not slam the dealer. My point was that two months later Kubota has yet to respond to my question. They aren't going to. I own a Building company and is there is one thing i've learned over the years is that one certainly catches more flies with honey than vinegar. I alienated my dealer by merely asking a question. I am sure that this is more indicative of this particular dealer than Kubota in general. I agree that you should keep on them. I do not think that yelling at them, not making your payment or anything that extreme is necessary, just wanted to state that apparently some dealers take these things personally, and despite my best efforts to merely have confirmation on a simple question, they got pissed. Too bad, I waited for four years to by a Kubota, from this particular dealer, paid the price he set, and for all my money and trouble I have no relationship with them. Good luck! I'll be interested in hearing how all this shakes out.

I did not ask for a loaner yet but if they keep dragging this out I'm going to. Unreal that you have to deal with this BS. Funny part is that I have two good friends that are seriously in the market for BX's. Im pretty sure that they will be buying from the other nearby dealer.

poldies4, I agree with what you are saying. I would'nt stop making payments or anything like that and I am trying to give them every chance to just fix the thing without going over their heads and causing a bunch of crap.

Just out of curiosity...did you check the level of fluid left in the machine after you spotted the leak?? I'd be pretty worried if it ran a ways while it was low. That can shorten the life of if considerably.

Call Monday and ask what time they are returning your machine or what time you can pick it up. Imply the salesman you talked to told you it would be ready Monday. Continue with the confused attitude that your sure he told you it would be ready Monday if he didn't call you back and he didn't. If you finally get the salesman that you talked to and he denies it then ask him when, while you hold, if he has to talk to service manager or ask for the manager/owner.
Sometimes the squeaking wheel does get the grease and they may be serving the squeakers first. Let them know you are a squeaker but not a butt hole.
If it's not going to be ready Monday ask them to ask the owner if he will give you your first 50 hour service fluids and filters free for your wait, if they say he said no then ask to speak to the owner so you can ask him/her yourself. Nice, insistent and never with an attitude of demanding, asking. If no acceptable results then attitude, demanding and on to threatening.:)
But be prepared to live with the results.

Taiser, I did check the fluid level and it was still in the operating range but towards the low side.

JOHNTHOMAS, haha as far as the free fifty hour service goes I think I'll just ask for the fluid and filters and do it myself. Their turn around time hasnt proven to be real good.

That's what I meant. Get it and do it yourself.:)

It would be nice if they threw something into the deal but at this point I'll just be happy with getting back a properly working machine. Just want to stress that I'm not unhappy with Kubota at all. I like the machine alot and I think it's just a minor problem. Dealer just needs to stand behind it.
