Re: What\'s the best way to store a Post Hole Digge
I mad a quick wooden one with a few 2x4's and a few braces to make sure that the corners are strong. I use it all of the time and I can put on / take off the PHD in less than 5 min.
Also, its nice to wheel the PHD back in the corner of the storage area.
Attached the PHD is still on the tractor.

Re: What\'s the best way to store a Post Hole Digge
Ken,
Nice job! I wish I had a concrete floored garage/barn to store my stuff in. Right now I keep the BX2200 in a shed (w/o the loader) or under a "Coverit" storage shelter.
Anyway, I was doing some yard cleanup and decided to finally sawzall the old kids swing set. I put up a nice wood one last fall so it's high time I got rid of the old metal one. I was walking the cut up pieces to my dump trailer and kept passing by my poorly stored post hole digger. (Laying on the ground actually). I wanted to get it up in the air. I ended up using a part of the swingset that was sort of a tripod shape. (see attached pics). A small ratcheting tie down was used to hold the assembly off the ground. There is about 6 inches of clearance. That'll do until I can get the garage built!
