Where do you park your tractor when not in use, inside/outside/Covered outside?

Quite a few feral and semi-feral cats around my place. The only time I've had any problems with mice, was teh winter I decided to feed birds, and teh mice moved in to eat the bird seed. Bird food in a metal trash can with a lid, next to the bird feeder, solved that.

A four-to-six-foot perimeter of Pea Gravel, (3/8-inch clean aggregate about two inches deep), around the building is a big help. Mice don't like being out in the open. And the pea gravel falls into the hole if they try to end or start a tunnel in it. I first learned about the gravel band when trying to mouse proof buildings in the Southwest, to minimize Hantavirus. A water district I worked for had a serious incident, which killed one guy, and permanently disabled two others, when they cleaned up mouse infestation, and aerosoled the virus, in the room they were working in. So, we all got a bunch of training on the hantavirus, and how to mitigate it, and prevent mice in the buildings.
We have all kinds of stray cats that come through our yard. Our security cameras never see them catching mice but when we do catch a mouse in a trap outside, my wife leaves it lay there. The cats will eat it.

Inside.
My son had a wheel barrow, stored outside for 10yrs. The handles broke off when he went to use it - ha ha funny stuff. Next time I see him we're moving dirt and mulch, I'm wondering where that wheel barrow went - ends up he took it to the landfill, thing was only 10yrs old.
Visited the farm last year, spied our wheel barrow sitting in the corner. Huh, how old is that? 1958, still original tire, gets used several times a year, always stored inside. Huh.

Keep mine in the 12'x24' Partitioned off part of the shop.
Can't believe how many of my neighbors keep theirs outside, often parked next to large shops or barns. I guess they must have a lot of money to waste. Kubotas are the dominant make around here, i have seen a lot go from bright orange to badly faded orangish white.
I keep the mice under control with bait stations. I hear that terriers are great at rodent control, brother in law found 8 or 10 rats and squirrels trapped in his grain truck, picked up my neices rough coated terrier and put him in through the grain door. Twenty seconds later 8-10 dead rats and squirrels!

In a dedicated, enclosed bay of my pole barn. It has a rolling door, an asphalt paved floor, and electricity with bright LED lighting overhead. Everything I use with the tractor (attachments, chain & rope, maintenance supplies, a dedicated tool box) has a place there. I have a half-ton chain hoist on an I-beam trolly to help move things around, too. But it's not heated.

If it ain’t Red,
Leave it in the shed!

What I'm hearing is that you leave your classic IH products out in the weather to be abused, yet anything else is doted on, washed, waxed, and kept indoors.

Why do you hate International?

;)

All of mine sit outside for the most part and only occasionally get the luxury of sitting under cover of some sort. I will put covers/tarps over the operating areas mostly just to make it easier to get the snow off. They all have small leaks to some degree so if they go inside they are going on cardboard. Ironically, my hay gets priority when it comes to something that gets 24/7 weather protection.

4 barn cats deal with any mice issues. Prior to having them they were everywhere especially where the grain for the livestock was stored. Now I hardly ever seen one.

I live in pretty temperate climate though. Summers aren't overly hot and winters while we do get a lot of snow typically stays about 20 degrees except for a few weeks.

Years ago I saw a photo of a subcompact tractor in someone's living room; it was probably an add, and I think it was a Yanmar or Kioti.

Anyhow, I've spent days looking for it with no success, intending to add the caption 'If you're cold, they're cold, let them inside."

That would have been funny...
