Mine is in an unheated shed when not in use (around 1,600 hours now). That's why it still looks like it does in the picture from last week. Unnecessary exposure to the elements - especially the sun - does both cosmetic and physical damage to paint, plastics and rubber. I bought it used at the end of 2018 and the PO appears to have treated it the same. It gets a good cleaning and a wax in the late Spring. The L4240 was made between 2007 and 2013 and this is from earlier in the production.

Ever since I started owning tractors (50+ years) I kept them under a tarp, then when money allowed under a roof they went. Mine are in a building all of their own now, tight fit but they both go in, all implements, with gear boxes, are in a lean to and things like the back blade, disc and box blade are out in the weather. Like every other person with a out buildings I do wish they were bigger so everything could be under cover.
