where do you store your tractor - inside or out?

I put a plywood rip over the seat and steering wheel. I put a 6x8' tarp over that and tie it at the corners. It protects the operator's station and fuel filler. I just brush the snow off the cover and hood and I'm good to go. Works well.

More or less what we do for the 265 MF. I just buy a new silver tarp when on sale at HF every few years. The 310B JD backhoe has the open four post ROPS with heavy metal top so we do not tarp it.

Oldpilgrim how do you like your mahindra?

it's done everything I've asked of it and more. Comfortable, powerful, reliable, and good looking. I can find no fault with it. Great machine.

I built a shed cheap out of recycled lumber. All I bought was shingles and fasteners.

Have an enclosed lean to built on to the side of a dairy barn style storage shed. gravel floor keeps the tires out of ground contact.

Right now of the four machines here at the home front I keep both the Kioti and the Deere in the garage heated and ready to go. The International/Dresser Crawler/loader/backhoe and the International 250 backhoe/loader are stuck outside for this coming winter Have been looking at a new barn or even a steel framed building for them and some other small stuff but think we will wait till next year and build what we really want not just something to get by for now.

The Mahindra 5525 and the Farmall Super A under the carport.
The MF135 and the MM/BF in the shop.
The JD B and the Oliver 60 in a run-in shed.
The 1948 Farmall Cub is in pieces in the shop undergoing restoration.

I have a 35 by 14 insulated storage building designed to hold a car/tractor, but that would crowd me and my projects. So I build a 35 by 10 shed beside it with a gravel floor for the tractor and lawn tractors. Works great. Just had to go high enough to clear the ROPS.

I'd keep them next to my bed, but the floor won't support the weight of 2 large frame Kubota's so they stay in the barn.......

Tractor kept in the barn.

Today, the tractor was joined by the implements. I just completed the demolition of the old horse stalls that prevented full use of the barn for all things tractor!

Happy day!

My BX2370 is outside plugged in and under a tarp. I was that I could atleast put it inside of a carport.

Outside on patio but under deck with aluminum roofing to shed water so she stays nice and dry and close to house. Battery tender hooked up with an easy disconnect. Would love to have a little shed/barn with power and fully enclosed but that project is down low on the list.

All our equipment stays in the barn. As soon as the job is done they go back in. I have a 2001 New Holland that has never sat in the rain since I bought it new.

In the barn, always!

Barn or shed, anything to keep the elements somewhat at bay. Unheated, unfortunately.

Yep... in the new year I might actually try to heat my shop with some hard plumbing rather than portable heaters! My rule is to keep it covered whatever it is. Sides preferred but at least a roof!
