It's true , it would have been a shame , it's also a shame a customer had to go through such an ordeal that shoul have been taken care ofmuch sooner.maybe kioti will learn something out of the whole issue.
Chubby, Get yourself a small dolly for $20 or so from H. Depot. Lower the Kioti bucket onto it in mostly curled position and remove the pins. Put CLAW on the ground on its back and move dipper stick into position and put pins in place. RIP it up!
Hah! I wish it were that easy. In reality you need an assistant to help line up the pin holes and jam in the pin with the other person uses a crowbar or other tool to manipulate the ripper in three axis's so the holes are no more than a couple of millimeters off at worst. Better yet, use a grinder to put a slight taper on the edge of the pin so it can help force the bucket into place while you hit the other end with a mallet.
