Which is more common: 1/2" or 3/8" couplers?

/ Which is more common: 1/2" or 3/8" couplers? #21
I have 3/8" FF couplers front and back on my Kubota Loader/Backhoe. Kind of small. They are apparently termed some kind of "Tool" class of connector.

I have run jackhammers, a wood splitter and a hydraulic stone chain saw with them with no flow issues. As far as a grapple, this represents no flow issue at all.

My issue, is that they are very prone to damage from impact. You can't even tell they are damaged by looking at them, but they will no longer mate.

Ok, will go with 3/8 to match the tractor. Figured it would be easier to change on the grapple than dealing w/the hydraulic fluid on the tractor. What kind of 3/8 couplers should I be buying? When I look them up, I see all different kinds and not sure what comes with the wr long kit.

The specs of the kit should tell you.

But they are probably standard ag iso5675 couplers.

Looking at the couplers you have now, there should be some numbers and a brand on there. Post that info

I can't quite read what it says. Looks like Italy and npt but my eyesight on a good day is bad. Here is a couple pics of what is on there.

They look the same as this but not sure. 3 8" NPT ISO 7241 B Quick Disconnect Hydraulic Coupling Coupler Set | eBay my local tractor supply had some 3/8 couplers but didn't look like the ones on my machine.

Here is what is on the grapple, I don't mind changing the ones on the tractor either. Just figured it would be easier to change the ones on the grapple since I don't have to deal with fluid and stuff. Anyone able to tell if I will need a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter it's late here and didn't get time to take the grapple couplers off yet.

A set of couplers to match the tractor are gonna be $10 or there abouts.

Probably looking at closer to $50 to match the grapple couplers.

Couldn't see any relevant numbers on the coupler, but as I said, probably iso5675 AG's. Spend $10, see if they fit

Those are ISO 7241 "B" couplers not "AG"
The ones at TSC are probably the "A" or "AG" style and if so are not compatible.
