Which one?

What might help decide it for you is which one has the best engineered implements. Meaning, easiest to put on and take off, and the most durable. For example, midmount mowers attach drastically differently from manufacturer to manufacturer. Same with loaders and snow blowers. Some are easy on/off. Others not so. Some require more maintenance, go through belts faster, have inherent weak points, etc. I'd investigate these things before deciding.

Last I heard, the Cub Cadet's were made by Yanmar. The same folks that made the JD 790 and 990 tractors for years and years. Very reliable.

Yanmar engine is a good thing. But, CCs are now owned by Murray Tractor. Don't know a thing first-hand about these tractors. Are the frames, trannies and the rest as good as the Yanmar engine? Can't say. But, I'm afraid of anything made by Murray. They just scare me.

If price determines anything, they retail for $16900, for tractor loader, and mower. I would think for that price they should be pretty good,... correction VERY GOOD.

Actually, for a new 32 hp FWA CUT with FEL and mower, $16,900 is cheap compared to some other brands. My only concerns with CC / Yanmar were the operator's platform (too small), the lift capacities (too low), and the weight of the machine (too light).

Not trying to start war with CC / Yanmar owners here - JMHO

Unless you plan to pull or PTO bigger ground engagement implements a 24 HP can be plenty for what you want to do. It is the rest of the tractor that will make or break a deal. Hydraulic pump output, frame strength, FEL and 3PH specs. I have a Kubota excavator with an 18 HP diesel. It's a significantly more capable machine than the equal sized bobcat excavator even though the bobcat brags a kubota engine. Some excavators have over 30 HP and they can't equal the little kubota excavator in specs.

Which one? That's a good question but the two "possibles" are not the answer. You are not comparing apples and oranges. I guess you are comparing "oranges and greens" but you get the point. The B7800 is an awesome machine but the price for an industrial used machine should be substantially less IMHO. So consider the B7800 either elsewhere or make a realistic and much lower offer for this machine. The JD [green] is maybe "big enough" but it seems to me that whenever you get "just big enough" you will soon be shopping again for a bigger tractor! Trust me on this one...there and doing that! Lots of good suggestions in above posts but I love my b7800! Of course it could be a little bigger...

Thanks for all the info everyone. I'm afraid I have to put my tractor shopping on hold for a while, I got laid off last week. Took me by surprise, but I kind of expected it with all the news about the Big 3 begging for money.Sales just weren't up to par, hard to sell to people that can't get approved for financing.

The worst part is that my local Kubota dealership just picked up a used (lightly) BX 2350 with loader,mower, and snow blower. The paint is barely used on the bucket. It has about 250 hrs, mostly snow removal last year, and mowing. They're asking 15,900, could probably get it for less.
On a brighter note, I went to see the Kubota dealership for a job, and he may have one for me, but not for a couple of months still. I'm currently looking at a bunch of job opps, just trying to choose the right one.
