Who has high-hour machines?

I just rolled 400hrs on the BX2360, in March it will be 2 years old. It's used about 1/4 of the time off property. 0 problems to date.

I've got a 30 year old B7100 with 2815 hours on it. I'm the third owner. The owner of my local Kubota dealer told me that he sold 10 7100s to a railroad when they first came out. They are used in a rail yard. He said that 9 of them are still in use and some of them have 11,000+ hours. With a little maitenance I expect my little tractor to outlive me. My 7100 isn't as pretty as it once was, but it's just as solid as can be. (I hope I didn't just jinx it by posting this.)

When my Dad was 17 years old he bought a new M Farmall and started farming with his dad (my grandfather). He will turn 88 years old this coming June and still has the tractor and uses it every week. No hour meter on it since new. It still has the original 3 gauges, oil pressure, temperature, and amps.

Before I bought my tractor, I had a 1988 Bobcat 743 with a 26 HP Kubota diesel in it. It had 3600 hours, and the dang thing didn't have a leak anywhere and always started easily, even in the coldest weather (around me that's usually above 0). I sold that Bobcat after I got the tractor, and to be honest I kinda miss it.

Local dealer here has a Kubota M7030 with 8300hrs. I have not asked, but I'm fairly certain it is the original engine.

Wow. That's an interesting tractor? Grader? Trader? Gractor?

Huber Maintainer......They were fairly common for township use back in the day.

L4150DT ; FEL with 1800 blue collar hours. Front bevel rebuild, pulled radiator last winter, replaced battery mount plate, filters and changes. This tractor has lived it's life outside but still has balls!

There are some tractor designs (like nightowl490's L4150) that are simple and strong everywhere so they go long hours without problems even if they only see a grease gun once in great while. But a friend with a Grand L3600 (around 3000 hours) recently spent a lot replacing steering parts up front that apparently needed greasing but never got any from the first owner. The linkage is pretty involved with pins and bushings - it wore to the point a part broke requiring a lot of time and other new parts. About $1k he said. Ouch.

i used to maintain a caterpillar 988b loader with 110000 hours on it, and that was 8 years ago, and it is still in daily service a quarry.

my first peterbilt had 37000 hours on it when it was reduced to "back-up truck"

the 2-71 detroit diesel genset in my shed has an estimated 40000 hours on it

as far as smaller diesels go, i have worked on several kubota powered portable light towers that had 15000 plus hours on them
