Sounds like this might be a good place for Southern Ohians. I live in Chillicothe. Actually more South-East of Chillicothe. I'm only about 5 miles from the Vinton County Line. I almost live in a little town called Londonderry, really isn't even a town, more like a sign along side the road with a name on it. I have a little over 7 1/2 acres completely flat. Was soy beans when we put the house in. Any body ever tried to "mow" soybeans? It ain't easy, tough little creatures. I'm trying to get to the point I can mow all of it. There is a ditch that runs through the property that I have had to have cleaned out/resculpted. Still dreaming about a tractor. I'm wanting a B7500, FEL, and 60" mmm, but that is still just a dream. Currently my current ol' Orange will have to do. It is a '65 12HP Sears Garden tractor that my dad sprayed painted Allis Chalmer orange because those were what he always had growing up and he wants to pretend this is. Takes awhile to mow with this as it only as a 42" deck that I have had to rebuild several times (currently I'm having parts made that I can no longer get - love relatives who work cheap). Of course took a lot longer to mow before I bought the pull behind mower. It has a 63" cut and I pull it off-set of the 42". I end up with about 100" of cut. Hope to be able to continue using this behind the 7500, as I can disconnect it and be back to a small maneuverable tractor. I have a great wive (Monica), and a 19 month old daughter (Alex) and a 3 month old son (Keagan). Work for Grange Insurance in Columbus as a Computer Programmer. Also do some computer networking on the side. Monica is a homemaker and a full time student at Columbus State Community College. With everything else going on, doesn't leave a lot of time for tractoring. Of course might have to make more tractor time (hopefully) next year when I get the new 'Bota and it'll be fun again.

Nope, Did not know Ted Lucas. It was a culture shock going from AT&T to Air Products. Air Products is a manufacturing and trucking company. I worked in the trucking end of the company. Our group wrote the software to schedule deliveries of the industrial gasses (O2, N2, etc)to the customers.
