I thought someone from Green South used to post here awhle back.
I think my dealer reads alot of the posts on this website, but doesn't post. He has a JD day coming up on March 3rd. Pancake breakfast with a bluegrass band. Pretty nice setup. I'll ask him.
I think the salesguys at my local dealership have started to read the posts here on TBN, too. (Since I've mentioned the web site and the buying/pricing information that users have posted.)
Certainly hope so... maybe they'll finally "get a clue" and recognize that the business strategy they've followed for the past 50+ years is not a good fit for today's tractor world!
Anymore than today's tractor's are the same as they built 50+ years ago!

The big brands are pretty well represented, except there is not one Deere dealer! What's up with that? I can't imagine why it would be against any corporate policy that they couldn't come and spread the brand as every other major brand has a dealer (or more) on TBN. Is it just some sort of very odd coincidence or does Deere really not let them on?
Deere is huge. Their big revenue/profits come more from the larger equipment they produce and sell as opposed to the smaller compacts and subcompacts. Go down to your Deere dealer and start to show interest in a new 6000 series and up tractor and you'll see what I mean. Seems to be a factor around here anyway, but I must say the Deere dealerships are better than they were years ago, i.e., more interest and less arrogance........
