Why do you make it so hard to attach photos to posts

He may need to go to My Home, general settings, and then miscellaneous setting and change the editor style to advanced or WYSIWYG

RANDYT, You're a genius. I was on the basic style. I changed my editor style to WYSIWYG and I HAVE A TOOLBAR!:cool2::cool2:

OK I see it. I haven't used that for a few years.

Go there, scroll to the bottom and select Show Thumbnails.

Find the picture I want and click on it.
That opens the picture in a tab.
Highlight the URL and copy it.
Reply to a message.
Push the Insert Image button.
Choose the From URL tab.
Paste the URL into the URL field.

UNCHECK the check by the line that says "Retrieve remote file and reference locally".

Hit OK and there you go.

I loved all of those Larson cartoons. Target bears, the cows, The polar bears and the Eskimo (crunchy center) ALL of them.

On my desktop i use GO ADVANCED, then manage my attachments. Its easy to use, on desktop..but wont work on ipad. ok, so i uploaded the same pics using both comands......mine and the one shown a few posts back.

Select Choose Files and Photo Library

Choose the Album you want. I chose All Photos

Select the photos you want from that album. I chose Jethro Cyphering, a cop with a gator, and the car from Christmas Vacation.

They'll have checkmarks on them. Then select DONE at the top of that box after selecting and it takes you back to the Insert Image screen.

At that screen, select Upload Files. It's not a highlighted button, so you'd not guess to push that. Push it anyway.

i disagree. Technology has made life harder. Things were way more sane 20 years ago.
