Why do you make it so hard to attach photos to posts

Compared to a Ham radio forum I frequent, this forum is a breeze. TBN actually hosts photo's.

On the Wyze cam forum they don't host and it seems a pain to have to upload every time.

Technology - keep up or get rolled over by it. I am amazed by how many people just grumble, resist and give up. Meanwhile, my grandchildren rock with it.

Your grandchildren probably are not ingrained with 10 to 20 years of posting on TBN.
Technology - keep up or get rolled over by it - or step aside and let it roll by.

I belong to several forums and have followed this one for several years. I'm not a big poster but occasionally I do have something to add. For the computer savy I guess it's no problem to attach photos to their posts. For the rest of us (especially me it's almost impossible. I don't understand why TBN would make it so difficult. I won't be posting any more and probably won't be following TBN much in the future.

TBone I agree it is a pain. Once you do it a few times it isnt terrible. However, remember we are getting this service for free. Maybe there could be a paid version that makes it super easy to upload and offers some other features?

Geeze I dont see what's so hard about it.

Make a post.
Click the icon to upload a picture.
Locate the picture you want to upload.
Upload it.

Done.

There's a drag and drop feature for PCs.
iPads don't allow drag and drop.

It's not hard. Do it a couple times and it's quite easy.

Easy indeed!

Everything is hard until you learn how to do it. Then it is easy. Like I said before, posting images to this forum is easier than some others. So you can either complain about it or you can learn how to do it. The choice is yours. Could it be make easier? sure. What would that take in money and resources? I don't know. And it doesn't matter, because it is what it is. At least this site host's them and you can go back and repost them, AND it doesn't cost a dime to use.

He may need to go to My Home, general settings, and then miscellaneous setting and change the editor style to advanced or WYSIWYG

Unfreakingbelievable! I've been posting here for years. Yet until I read this thread and did as Randy suggested, never realized that it could be done differently.
Now I have to figure out how to post all over again. That could take some time... especially considering that it took me three years to switch to using Windows after working with DOS back in the dark ages, all of those years ago.

I have searched but not found a way to drag and drop anything on TBS. If they have that, then that would allow posting pdfs.

Did you try my home, general settings, all the way on the bottom there's Enhanced Attachment Uploading. Says something about drag and drop attachments.

I'm not at a PC to test it out.
