Why is TYM down here in the weeds?

TYM has used all kinds of different engines in their tractors over the years like John Deer, CAT/Perkins, Doosan, Yanmar, Deutz, just to name a few. TYM has built tractors for a lot of brands too like Cabela’s, RK, Lamborghini, Bad Boy, Montana, Scorpion, Mahindra and others.

There are company's who make lots or electric motors or water-pumps or alternators or ??. No shock, there are company's' all over the world that specialize in building something, even tractors! So if you are building something, lets say a truck and they'll of course need a alternator. You go to manufacturer X and say "I need a 100 amp alternators and here are my specifications" and they send you a price. Company X builds lots of them for company's all over the world and all to different specifications and cost. Point is they are fulfilling whatever specifications they were asked to do, so the various alternator bids coming off the line are NOT the same.

Few years ago TYM was at the big boy table. When RK came along TYM was moved to the other tractor brands...

Yes, the TYM and RK merge would be ideal. The only oddity is the RK with Yanmar engines.

No oddity there. The RK with Yanmar engines are the same as a T554, T374, etc. They are almost 100% the same other than badging.

The Bad Boy are all former Branson models with different paint and seats.

And all built to different specifications.....

Not really the case with most of these (currently made ones). Other than paint and logos, they are the same tractor. A few have different seats.

Strange since TYM literally makes all RK tractors.

RK was getting a lot of traffic on this site and TYM wasn’t at that time. They really should merge RK, Cabellas and TYM in one.

It at least should be TYM, with Branson, RK and Cabela sub headings.

Branson and Cabela should be in the Orphan Tractor headings with Century, Farmtrac and Montana
