Why so much titan attachments hate?

I haven't purchased any of their attachments but tried to buy some bucket teeth from them. I ordered a box of 10 teeth and pins on a Sunday evening and they didn't ship them till Thursday. The tracking info never said they were picked up, just that a label was created. Fedex lost them and didn't deliver for a few days after they should have been there but one day they showed up in a tattered box at my gate. It was a wonder there were ten teeth and pins in the oversized torn up box but the pins were the wrong diameter and did not match the merchandise description on the web site. After a couple of emails back and forth with me providing photographic proof the pins were wrong they stopped replying to my emails and never offered any resolution to the problem. I finally did a complaint through paypal and later escalated it to a claim. After they didn't respond to any of the paypal communications paypal refunded my money and charged it back to them. After a while they replied to my last email and offered to send the correct size pins. I had already purchased teeth and pins from a CAT dealer and installed them so I told them to send a return label and I would drop them off to return. They sent the label and I packaged the items better than I received them and sent them home.

I would be reluctant to buy something of value from them after that.

I tried to call their phone number - rang and rang - no one picked up. When I emailed a specific person it took days to get a reply. I did order a pair of 48" Pallet forks off their website, product looks good and I saved 100's from what I could purchase local. Maybe the folks at Woodmaxx could have them in for some customer service training.

I also notice that they have not been active on the forum since March??????

JD855guy.....Based on your post I don't blame you for being reluctant to do business with them again, I would also be concerned. When I have a problem like yours I ask myself "if this is the worst thing to happen in my life I'm pretty lucky." Best wishes going forward.

I bought roll your own ssqa conversion kit and a couple of plates from Titan. No problems so far.

I bought the 48" pallet fork/bale spear combo a couple of months ago. SSQA fit my tractor just fine. Very happy with the purchase. Wish I had bought them sooner. I use the pallet forks more than I thought I would. Will be trying out the bale spear today.

I have the same fork/bale spear combo. When I first inserted the spear, the nut would not thread on fully, I found there was a weld bead inside holding it back. A simple fix with a rat tail file and all was well. Good unit.

My trailer mover is from Titan. I bought it there because I could get it shipped to my door for less than I'd have spent building my own. It's not especially pretty, but it is perfect for what I want to do. To me, that is the perfect sort of attachment to buy from a company like that. I don't care about fit/finish, just function. And it performs such a basic function that it would be hard for it not to work.

Thats the problem. ... Fit affects function to the extent that the loader can be damaged from poor fit conditions. A very high price to pay by the unwary. If you only ever lift, the loose fit condition is usually benign. If you ever push down or back drag the loose fit is a ticking time bomb.

The trailer mover is an "A frame" that goes on the 3PH. Not much of a time bomb there.

I have had very good luck with titan attachments. I have a bale spear and pallet forks and am planning to purchase the tree puller and carry all probably in the next six months.

I have had no issues with fit and finish with their JD quick-attach loader implements but its a pretty simple design. The powder coating has faded slightly over 3 years of being in the elements but none of it has peeled or flaked.

I had absolutely no issues with delivery with the items. One thing that probably most can agree on is that their prices are pretty tough to beat when shipping is already included in the price.

Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones but I have had no issues with them but honestly speaking I've never encountered a horror story dealing with any vendor and having a product delivered freight.

Does Titan make a SSQA to 3PH adapter? Then you can get the full experience.

Just joking, I think Titan is gets you real good bang for the buck.

I hate them because all they do is import crap from China and flood the market undercutting and hurting small US businesses like Artillian, Everything Attachments, WR Long, Horst, and many many more here in the US with cheaply with this made stuff. Just read the about us page on the website there is nothing about "making" anything...just unloading containers and shipping. You all buy nice tractors and then look for the cheapest crap you can to attach to it,,,make no sense to me.

I have bought from ETA and got a good product. I also bought a high end tiller, and some less expensive items as well. I choose where to buy certain tools based on my need and my assessment of the product.

The SSQA conversion kit and plates I got from Titan met my needs and expectations. And I was also.pleased with the landscape rake I bought from ETA, as well as the tiller I bought local.

Too bad my decision to look for cheap crap did not meet with your approval.

While I agree most of their stuff is USA made but not all (Everything Attachments).

They are selling some attachments made by United Attachments. Yes they are made in the USA. Yes they are selling other stuff too.

I have ordered pallet forks, but not yet rec'd.

Ordered 72" heavy duty rock bucket, it is huge! Shipped pretty quick out to me in the boonises of W NM. I do like the free shipping, as it would be several hundred miles for me to get to any place that has implements.

The SSQA on the rock bucket was very well made, & did not have any fitment issues. did not work as well as I thought it would for rocks, but that could very well be me & my lack of skill in using it. Quality of workmanship seemd really good though.
