Does anyone know how to turn off cascading when a new window is opened in Chrome? It covers the Task Managers that I have open on the right side of the monitor. :thumbdown:

This is what cascading looks like, each window is displayed down and slightly right of the previous window.

Nope.. gave up on Chrome years ago because of this stupid 'feature'..

Windows Edge does it also, but just shifted to the right and the first window is not pinned to the left edge, I had to move it:

Edge, FF, Safari you can have it either way - Open in Same Tab, Open in New Tab or, Open in New Window. Its in the settings.

All four of these were Open in New Window, the problem is they are not pinned to the left and they cascade to the right, covering the Task Managers.

Ok, thats normal for opening new windows unless you open them full screen. I always have links open in new tab and just leave the main browser window full screen.

Open new window always... opens a new window, open a new tab opens a new tab in the same window. I love Chrome! Second choice is Firefox but a few major updates ago did something to annoy me so I started using Chrome more. I like both of them because I am on many different machines through out the day. Usually at least 5 and sometimes up to 15. I can open Chrome in any one of them and have all of my bookmarks, same with Firefox, Chrome just seems to do it better.
