Yes, the cost of a dual layer is prohibitive. I burned a 7.2GB movie compressed to a regular 4.7GB disc and uncompressed to an 8.7GB disc as a comparison. I couldn't really see any difference in picture quality so the method of compression and 4.7GB disc's wins
6-7GB movies in 15min. is outstanding! I have never been able to get that kind of performance. I'll need to give DVD Fab a try and see how it works.
