Winter question

   / Winter question #11
Is it worth considering a snow plough for a truck? If you have a big wheeled 4wd suv, it might just do the job provided you don't let the stuff pile up too much. Will be a cheaper option and might at least be worth trying for one season. Unless you're really looking for an excuse to buy a tractor . . .

Used SCUT with a front blower. Any brand would do a good job, but you will probably find one of the earliest Kubota BXs at the lowest price- since they are apt to be older.
I also have a vintage mid 90s Honda 5518 with 4wd and articulated steering. It does a great job. Honda used to make 13 and 18 hp gas models.
I used to use a lawn tractor with blower but became very frustrated with it getting stuck if I got too near the small hills adjacent to my driveway!!!
