Winter Storm of Feb 1-3

We are supposed to get 8-12" and northeasterly winds gusting up to 40 mph. The winds have picked up, but the snow isn't here yet. Even after the snow stops, the winds are supposed to remain blustery.

spent most of yesterday w/ my wife on the roof removing snow

I had that problem too, removed a lot of the insulation in the attic and that solved the problem. Melts the snow on the roof real quick.

I spent about two hours cleaning my drive this afternoon, it's about 600' long. I did one smart thing, I bought some goggles, but I really need a face mask, which I don't have. I actually had some ice frozen on my cheek. Right now at 7:50pm, I'd say it's snowing 2" or more an hour. I can't even tell how much we've got, it's so windy.

Just finished 2 hours of snow blowing. When I started there was 5"+ down... when I finished there was 8"+. Still snowing and second front of 12-18" will arrive late tomorrow afternoon and eve. Another dark evening of moving and snow blowing. At least the 2+ hour jazz show on the radio was hip!

Just back from two hours of plowing, gee Kansas is a great place in winter!! Really enjoying the opportunity to do things that I never could do before,

Next time I get a CAB!!

Snow just started here in buffalo NY. Supposed to get around 12-18 inches. Will have to go out in the morning to plow or my little tractor won't be able to handle it.

Today I was widening the sidewalks so I will have room to push this snow until the battery went dead on the tractor and when trying to start it I thought I'd run my fingers of my left hand though the V belt. Thankfully only broke one before the belt popped off. Something I thought was dumb but now know for sure.

The eye tracked much further north, by some 80 miles, and thus, it dumped on us. Howling winds, and at this hour, it is still too dark see the damage. All I can see is the drift that swallowed the back deck off the house.

Heavy sigh.

Only about 4 inches of snow so far but snowing heavy and steady here in the north east everybody stay safe

Well the local weather station saying 18-22 inches of snow between 2/1-/2/2,yesterday 2 inches and snow piling almost inch an hour..going to be lot snow between now 4pm when system start to pull out....hmm

Wed. morning and it just started coming down and no wind to speak of so far. We got 1-2" yesterday. I guess by the sound of all you , I'd better get the old girl filled up and ready to go for tonight.
