Well, we only got about 6" yesterday into last night; then another 3" in the wee hours and now changing to sleet and rain. This is a dusting from what we've had recently but the frozen ice on trees and roofs is a concern. Now there weather gods are talking another storm on Saturday...

Snow has started again. Up to 12" today and another 12" to 15" over night. I guess now I'm making up for being envious of all you guys that had snow to move around.

Northern Michigan was "supposed" to have been spared this round. These storms track where they will.
Just waded out to the barn to do chicken chores. Had to dig my way. 12" and it's still flittering down and the wind is pushing it around. Ugh!!!

It's quit here in Western Illinois and it ended up dumping around 20 inches. I used my BX last night for about 2 hours. The rear blade was pretty useless, it was all end loader. I'm lucky, I've get several places that it drops off beside my driveway, so I've got places to push it. The traction with my BX with turfs was good. I almost got stuck once but that was because I drove to far off the driveway.
I could see if it was much deeper or wetter, I'd of had problems. I can see where a BXexpanded bucket expander would be the best thing since sliced bread.

Well North or Chicago we got 20 inches so far, the 25 year old Honda snowblower got a good work out this AM. Snow still coming down so we could be close to the 24 inch mark when it is all said and done.
Most of our patients have cancelled so the work day looks to be a bit slow!

Went out to get newspaper this morning and we received about 10" in Galway, N.Y. Mixing with sleet as we speak, guess I'll have to go out and clean it up.
