Well I think I mean, I only have one remote output and it is being used for the FEL. How can I hook up the hydraulics for the stump grinder if I am using the remote out for the FEL. Sorry, I have worked on cars my whole life, tractors are new to me.
Thanks, Dave.

We'll get you figured out. Use the search function here, using phrases like 'power beyond' , 'rear remote', etc. You will want to read up on your tractor's hydraulic system. Most modern tractors are largely the same. If it were me, I'd plumb a power beyond loop to the rear of the tractor..... the same as you would to power a backhoe.

Ductape, I think i,m starting to get it. The controller for my FEL has a PB port, this has a hose going back to transmission. Should this hoes go to the controller for the stump grinder? Then the return from the SG control should go back to the same port the PB hose is on now at the transmission.

Thanks, Dave.

You are on the right track. If it were me, I would run a hose out of the power beyond port on your loader valve to the rear of the tractor. Then, you'll want a second hose coming back and going into where your PBY hose used to connect. You'll want male / female quick connects at the rear so when the stump grinder is not on the tractor, they will be coupled together so the hydraulic flow is not interrupted.... as this is what powers your three point hitch. Just keep in mind all of your tractors hydraulics are connected in series , so you cannot "tee" into the pressure side of hydraulic valves.

I'm assuming there is simply an in and an out on the stump grinder valve?? Or is there an in, out, and power beyond port ?

There are other options to operate the grinder, but that is the way I would do it. It may come in handy for you should you ever decide to add a backhoe or three point wood splitter in the future.

Pictures!!! When I picked it up I was very happy to see it has the control valve. With only one output on my tractor how can I use the control valve?

You have the best set-up you could want in your situation. That valve shown in your pic appears to be the valve and bracket from Woods. It takes hydraulic oil from the pair of remotes on your tractor. You then energize this hydraulic circuit via your tractors SCV (selective control valve) and leave it "on". Doing so allows you to operate the two cylinders on the grinder via the Woods 4 way valve. (essentially you have "split" your hydrualics via the added valve.)

Power Beyond is a different way of plumbing a hi-volume of oil - typically used for a back hoe. The term is irrelevent for your purposes......IF you have a pair of remotes as I beleive was stated previously.

edit: After a closer look at you pics.....the two hoses hanging straight down with coupler ends on are the pair that you simply "plug" into your tractor remotes. These are the two loacted on the top of the grinder's valve. Golden.

I believe all he has is his loader valve...... no other hydraulic valves or outlets on the tractor.

OH. Ooops. I though he said he had one set of remotes. Sorry to add to the confusion. (I'll go sit in the corner.)

Why I wanted him to read up and learn his own hydraulic system....... since there are many ways to skin a cat. We can make suggestions, but he'll have to figure out what is best / easiest / most cost effective on his tractor. ;)

As I said, if it were me, I'd run a loop the the rear of the tractor off your PB port on your loader valve. How may ports in the stump grinder valve?
