Thanks, Midnight, what a great illustration of how to use the adapter.

Now, did I overpay for an El Cheapo model in disguise? Maybe. It looks identical to the Worksaver quick hitch, especially with its curved release handles. I'm not sure what Worksavers cost. Mine came with a heavy duty floating link bracket and a set of bushings for $400.
I'm suspecting a lot of them out there are made in the same factory. After looking at yours, mine looks the same. Even came with the same bushing and adapter set. Though I think your welds are nicer. (thats not dirt, it's pollen 🙄).

Yep, it appears we have sister hitches! My eye needs practice on judging welds tho. We have pollen here this year that is heavy as yours. I think that yellow is from pines, at least here.

Here is Good Works Tractors video on the Worksaver, which looks just like my Woods hitch:

I've considered a quick hitch for my Kubota M6040. Looked at several. My concern - say Pat's Hitch - how much greater distance is there between the tractor PTO stub and the implement PTO stub. Will my existing PTO shaft work or do I need some form of extension or do I need an all new PTO shaft. My existing PTO shaft has 10" of overlap on my chipper. Chipper is my only PTO implement.

BTW - In a week or less, my entire property and everything on it will be a Limey Green. Ponderosa pine are about to "shed".

I think all quick hitch systems add about 4". If an implement claims to be compatible, the pto shaft is supposed to be long enough. I immediately checked mine on my new cutter yesterday and it was fine.

I found a video clip on Pat's hitch. They indicate about a 3" greater distance - PTO stub to PTO stub. With 10" overlap on my PTO shaft for my chipper I should still be OK. Those that also include the top link in the quick hitch setup could be the 4" ones.

In any case - I think I'll stick with my existing system. It's a bit cumbersome but I'm familiar with it. Besides - I SO ENJOY getting my fingers/hands pinched and HORSING all my Cat 2 implements into a final hook up position.

Much thanks for your response MossyDell. You have a good day.

Is there any way around quick hitches when my mower is Land Pride cat 1 and my other implements are cat 2?
