The Oklahoma Federal building was not bombed by someone wearing "a diaper" on thier heads; at this point it is still guesses as to who did this, albeit some educated guesses.

Once it is found who did it, then the snipers, bombers and attack crews should hit immediately.

Very true Bird and well said. They were actually my second cousins and I didn't know them really well but family none the less. My Mom said there was a chance they may still be alive but doubtful. Their offices were one below where the second plane struck. I certainly don't blame Todd for what happened it just struck a nerve that he used such wording.

The skies have been very quiet.... except for the military fly overs.

I live 35-40 miles south of Camp David and "other" military facilities and the jets are flying over every 15 minutes or so. We usually have C-130's overhead constantly, but not fighters or escorts.

Can't tell what they are because by the time you look up, they're gone.

Doesn't scare me... more secure and makes me feel a lot better about our country /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I think killing them is too easy on them. Our country's "human rights" advocates will ensure they get a fair trial lasting several years and at worst, put to death by injection. Death for their cause is an honor for them.

I would support the use of the most barbaric torture methods man has ever devised. The higher ranking the person, the more barbaric the torture. Put them in a padded cell and force feed them so they can't die. Video tape their conditions and punishments and broadcast it to the culture that supports them. Maybe the next group who wants to pull such an atrocity will think about it first.

Knight9, I was trying to make a point that we need a DETERANT to this type of behavior. Clearly, these people have no respect for lives, even their own. If they are honored in their native culture for these acts, someone else will step up for the next wave of attacks.

Speaking of heroes, I think it is time to recognize the real heroes in this event- The guys who stopped the fourth airplane from reaching it's target. Their actions saved a lot of lives, probably preserved some evidence that we can use to track down the perpetrators, and defeated the terrorists on at least one front. What those guys did requires balls the size of basketballs, and I salute them. - Stan
