This may be a stupid question ...

I'm getting a new 3130 with a backhoe (bh90).

This summer, I'll be getting a boxscraper and wanna do a top-n-tilt at that time (probably via CCM).

What I'm wondering is, could I get the joystick from CCM along with the top-n-tilt, and then jack the hydraulics that would normally feed the hoe into the joystick for the top-n-tilt?

In other words ... I disconn the hoe, hook the lines that would feed the hoe into the joystick, add the top cylinder, and hookup the 3ph implement, reverse to go back to the hoe ...

My limited knowledge of how these things are plumbed leaves me scratching my head ... (but once I _get_ the machine I'm sure things will become clearer ...)

As long as the joystick valve is open center it will work.
There are two bh hoses, one from the pump, one returning to the sump. You must normally connect the two, male to female, to complete the circuit when the hoe is disconnected or you will dead head the pump if you leave them disconnected. So as long as whatever valve you put on allows the fluid to normally freely return to the tank when centered you will be all set. The valve will interrupt and reroute the fluid when actuated. Just be sure the valve is spring centering so you don't have to remember to return the lever. Your dealer will be happy to help you spend the money.

Like what was said, using an open center valve, this will work. I bought a joystick loader valve for my BX2230. I built a grapple bucket for the front and then I added a cylinder for my back blade and stone rake.
