Just my reasoning on why I bought forward vs reverse is - tree roots and rocks. My KK2 just jumps over them and I believe a reverse would probably cause me to stop and get off and deal with it rather than go on. simply my .002
wouldn't it be better to use a dual-input-shaft gearbox, then you could reversed by putting the shaft on the other end of the gearbox, then moving the 3pt frame and the rear "flap" to the opposite side? Seems easier than switching all of the tines around.
Most buyers would set it up for forward or reverse, when they buy it and leave it that way forever or until a different field condition arises. They are not designed to change out ever other day, just to have as a option. Ken Sweet
