This pic came in an email. I can't vouch for its authenticity.

A person took this picture yesterday, in Shakopee, MN. He and one of his co-workers were driving
by and had to circle the block. It's a guy cutting down a tree in his backyard. The cops showed
up, telling the guy he couldn't do what he was doing. He told them to go to he-- it's his property
and his tree.

H*** no,he drops one of those larger limbs, and the shaking of trunk is gonna dislodge at a minimum, the top ladder, maybe all.

Saw that and the wife and I got a good laugh at it because it looks very similar to how my neighbor removed a tree.

You have to wonder how it all turned out . I have done some crazy things I guess but nothing like that .

I admit to reaching a peak, for staining, with a ladder on scaffolding sitting on a wood deck. A tree? No way Jose. I think I'd get about half-way up and my knees would be knocking.

If it's real, I hope he lived to tell about it. I can't see any of the normal photoshop clues.

Thats crazy stupid!
Not sure if the 2 skid loaders are rentals, But I bet he could've rented a bucket boom for around the same cost,

The cost of repairing a power line would keep me from doing that particular set up,

But as far as the comments to the po-po. Go to .....!;-)

Wow, that guy has a set of 'nad's!!! If someone offered me a $1 mil to climb up to where he's at, I'd tell them to kiss my ***!! Not worth the risk to me.

I'm guessing that once he got to the top of the first ladder, he secured it to the tree, and the same thing with the bottom of the upper ladder. Then, once he got to the top of the upper ladder. he most likely secured it in place as well. I hope it all turned out well for him.

Oh yeah, I hope he told the cops that if he was breaking a law, to come up there and arrest him and put him in cuffs LOL.
