XUV Oil Filter

Is there any trick to getting to the oil filter in the XUV Gator? I have a 850D diesel and cannot seem to budge the filter. It is a new Gator so this is factory filter. Is there a wrench of some sort to give you the torque? I tried an oil filter wrench that I had lying around but there just isn't enough room to tighten the wrench and loosen the filter.

Keep trying. Oil filter wrench is what I use on my HPX and believe me it isn't easy to get the thing to bite down but if you do it just perfect it will.

Use a 3/8" rachet wrench and a socket type oil filter tool that fits over the bottom of the filter. After you change out the factory filter the others will come off easier.

On my 05 HPX I had the same issue at first oil change. I purchased a filter wrench from my dealer. It fits over the end of the filter. It fits my 455 and 4410.
