Yahoo !!! Gas crisis Over

Friday the diesel was 3.69 at the station that is usually the cheapest. Monday morning I stopped at a station in town. Sometimes he is more. Sometimes he is less. But he is easier and quicker to get in and out of the station. So I stopped figuring it would be more per gallon. And he was 3.79. After fueling up I passed the other station 10 miles down the road that was 3.69 on Friday. The price had dropped to 3.55. Ouch. Paid alot for a speedy fillup.

Yesterday I noticed the price for regular had finally gone under $3 a gallon. It was 2.99. The stations that have been mostly out of gas had fuel for a change.

hey gang, there is a station in the okc metro that is $2.06. I gassed up ethanol free at $2.29. Diesel at that same place was $2.99. Okc is odd, we run from $2.06 to $2.99. BTW, I agree with the price per barrel and we should be a bit lower per gallon for gas. That always seems to be the case, prices shoot up fast, and fall way behind on the down swing compared to the price per barrel. It is just like most of my investments, but that would be for another thread.

Your gas is still cheaper than ours. I bought gas at Sam's Club in Lewisville, TX, this morning for $2.399, then later in the day I was at the Walmart in Denton, TX, and their price was $2.339.

I paid $2.38 this AM at Sam's.

Last weekend there was a new Wal-Mart opening near Booneville, MS. They ran gas for $1.99. Several of the local stations around there dropped their price as well for that day. Now the price is $2.17. Not too bad.

Golly you guys are way ahead of us. Regular was $2.65 and diesel was $3.45 at my regular station today. At this rate it will be Christmas before Lancaster gets to $2.

On last night's news, they were showing a QuikTrip and a Shell station across from each other and engaged in a gas war. How long has it been since we had gas wars? Anyway, they had been lowering their prices for gas all day, every hour. During the newscast, the Shell station was at $2.04 and the QT was $2.05. Who would have ever thought we would see gas that cheap again?

I'd like to see it come back down to .99/gal again.

Cheapest i've seen it around here is 2.63

I just wish diesel prices will come down a little faster. Regular unleaded here is around $2.50

Guess I need to eat my words on pricing. But then whoda thunk the economy would crash like it is doing.
